Project JÄRKI – environmental advice for farmers and decision support for policy makers

In 2009 Nature and Game Management Trust Finland started in cooperation with a Baltic Sea Action Group an advisory project ( for farmers in reasonable water management and biodiversity maintenance. In addition to the advisory work, the purpose of the project is to reveal the worst bottlenecks in adopting proper water and biodiversity conservation actions into the economically viable farming.

The new period of JÄRKI project has started in 2014 and will contunue until end of the year 2018.
